How to Unblock Someone on Instagram
Restore access for an account you previously blocked and understand what changes after you unblock it.
Open Settings and activity, tap Blocked, choose Unblock beside the account, then confirm.
Before you start
Unblocking does not automatically follow the account again. Instagram says the person is not notified, but they can once again find and interact with you under your normal privacy settings.
Follow the steps
Open Blocked accounts
From your profile menu, open Settings and activity, then tap Blocked under Who can see your content.

Find the account you want to unblock. · Tap to enlarge Tap Unblock
Tap Unblock beside the correct username. Read the confirmation: the account will be able to find, follow, and message you again under your normal settings.

Review the confirmation before continuing. · Tap to enlarge Confirm the account is removed
Tap Unblock in the confirmation. Check that the account no longer appears in your Blocked accounts list.

The account is no longer blocked. · Tap to enlarge
