How to use this tool
- Choose an image and select Cover, Blur or Pixelate.
- Drag over an area, or enter its position and size, then select Apply area. Repeat for other areas.
- Review the whole image and download. Use Undo if you need to remove the last edit.
A few useful details
Which effect should I use for private details?
Use a solid Cover for names, addresses, messages or other sensitive details. Blur and pixelation can leave information recognizable. Check that the entire detail is covered before sharing.
Can I hide more than one area?
Yes. Apply one area at a time; each edit stays on the image. Undo removes the last applied area, and Reset clears all edits.
Does the download contain the editable original?
The download is a newly rendered image. It does not contain the original as an editable layer. The original file on your device stays unchanged. This tool uses manual selection, not automatic face detection.
Can I adjust brightness, contrast and saturation?
Yes. Open Photo adjustments and move the sliders to lighten or darken the photo, change its contrast or adjust color intensity. Zero keeps the original setting; saturation at -100 makes the photo black and white. Reset adjustments clears only these three settings. All changes are applied to the downloaded image, entirely in your browser.
