How to Hide Your Friends List on Facebook
Change who can see the Friends section on your Facebook profile and understand what may remain visible.
Open Menu, Settings and privacy, Settings, and scroll to Audience and visibility. Tap How people find and contact you, open Who can see your friends list?, choose Only me or another audience, and tap Save.
Before you start
Hiding your friends list does not hide every friendship connection. Facebook says your friend count is public, mutual friends are always visible, and people may still see that you are friends with someone when viewing the other person's friends list.

A couple of useful details
Does Only me completely hide every Facebook friendship?
No. Facebook says others may still see a friendship from the other person's profile, and mutual friends remain visible.
Can people still see how many Facebook friends I have?
Yes. Facebook currently states that the number of friends you have is public.
Can I show my friends list only to friends?
Yes. The available audiences include Friends and may also include custom choices such as Close friends or Friends except.
Does changing this setting affect my friends' profiles?
No. Your friends control the visibility of their own friends lists, so a friendship may still be visible through their settings.
